《漠虛靜以恬愉兮·淡無為而自得》 "Indifferent, empty, and tranquil in contentment; indifferent to non-action and self-satisfied" 《漠虛靜以恬愉兮》「漠」是淡漠、不執著的意思，「虛靜」指內心虛空寧靜，沒有雜念；整句是說，讓內心保持淡漠虛空、寧靜平和的狀態，就能獲得安然愉悅的心境。在道家看來，人之所以會痛苦，是因為被欲望、執念、外界的評價所束縛。「虛靜」不是讓人大腦空白，而是放下那些不必要的牽掛，讓內心回歸本真，就像一潭清澈的湖水，不被外界的風浪攪渾，自然能映照出真實的世界，也能感受到最純粹的快樂。 "In 'Mò xū jìng yǐ tián yú xī,' 'Mò' signifies indifference and non-attachment, whijìng' refers to an inner emptiness and tranquility free from distracting thoughts. The entire sentence suggests that maintaining a state of indifference, emptiness, and peace within allows one to atta serene and joyful state of mind. From a Daoist perspective, human suffering arises from being bound by desires, attachments, and external judgments. 'Xū jìng' d mean having a blank mind, but rather letting go of unnecessary concerns and allowing the heart to return to its true nature—like a clear lake undisturbed by external waves, naturally reing the true world and experiencing the purest joy." 《 淡無為而自得》「淡」同「淡」，是淡泊、淡然的意思，「無為」不是什麽都不做，而是不做違背自然規律、違背本心的事；整句是說，以淡泊的心態順應自然行事，就能在生活中獲得自在與滿足。「無為而治」是道家的核心思想之一，放在個人修養上，就是不要刻意去追逐功名利祿，不要強迫自己去做不喜歡的事，而是順著自己的本心，做符合自然規律的事。就像樹木會自然生長，花朵會自然開放，人也應該在順應自然的過程中，找到屬於自己的節奏，這樣才能真正獲得內心的自在與滿足。 "Indifference to action and self-contentment." "Dan" (淡) is synonymous with "indifference," signifying detachment and almness. "Wu-wei" does not mean doing nothing, but rather refraining from actions that violate natural laws or one's true nature. The entire phrase suggests that by acting in acc with nature with a detached mindset, one can attain freedom and satisfaction in life. "Wu-wei" is a core concept of Taoism; applied to personal cultivation, deliberately pursuing fame and fortune, nor forcing oneself to do things one dislikes, but rather following one's true nature and acting in accordance with natural laws. Just as trees grow naturallylowers bloom naturally, people should also find their own rhythm in the process of following nature, for only then can they truly attain inner freedom and satisfaction. 這兩句話是相輔相成的，「虛靜」是內心的狀態，「無為」是外在的行事方式，最終都指向「恬愉」和「自得」的人生境界。在快節奏的現代社會裏，我們每天都被各種信息、任務、壓力包圍著，很容易迷失自我。這兩句楚辭就像一劑清涼劑，提醒我們要時不時停下來，清理一下內心的雜念，放下那些不必要的執著，以更淡然的心態面對生活，這樣才能真正感受到生活的美好與自在。 These two sentences complement each other: "emptiness and tranquility" refers to an inner state, while "non-action" refers to an external mod of conduct, both ultimately pointing to the life realm of "serenity" and "self-contentment." In the fast-paced modern society, we are surrounded by various information, tasks, assures every day, making it easy to lose ourselves. These two lines from the *Songs of Chu* serve as a cooling agent, reminding us to stop from time to timer away inner distractions, let go of unnecessary attachments, and face life with a more detached mindset; only then can we truly experience the beauty and free
