是夜，莆仙鄉會華堂燈火璀璨，琉璃盞內瓊漿盪漾若春水。座中盡是舊雨新知，新界廠商聯梁會長舉杯朗笑之際，絳幕外星河低垂，恍若欲探窗共飲。席間諸公霜鬢映彩屏，然眉宇間英氣勃發，猶見少年射虎風神。 On this night, the Huatang Hall of the Putian and Xian'an hometown association was splendidly lit, and the jade liquor in colored glass cups rippled like spring water. The seats were filled with old friends and new acquaintances, and as the chairman of the New Territories Manufacturers' Association lifted his and laughed loudly, the Milky Way seemed to be low enough to peek into the window and drink together. The officials at the banquet had frosty temples reflected on the colorful screen but their eyebrows and eyes were full of vigor, as if they were still young tigers. 
忽憶東坡居士有云：「休嘆白髮徒悲秋。」諸君鬢雖斑而談鋒猶健，酒雖溫而意氣彌豪。杯盞交錯之間，笑語如珠瀉玉盤，竟不知玉山將傾。昔坡公飲西湖謂「吸海垂虹」，今觀諸君鯨飲之態，方信豪腸千載相通。 I suddenly recalled that Su Shi said, "Do not sigh over the white hair in vain for the autumn." Although your hair is gray, your conversation still vigorous, and although the wine is warm, your spirit is even more bold. Between the cups and goblets, the laughter and conversation are like pearls falling from aade plate, and you do not know that the jade mountain is about to fall. In the past, Su Shi drank at the West Lake and said "suck the sea hang the rainbow", and now looking at the state of your whale drinking, I only believe that the bold intestines have been connected for thousands of years
更闌憑軒遠眺，萬家燈火蜿蜒似星河墜地。念浮生如滄海一粟，然杯底明月、座上春風，俱成永恆。斯夕之聚豈獨慶典乎？實乃以醽醁為舟，共濟人間逆旅；以笑浪為槳，同攬歲月滄波。醉眼望去，千里清輝正漫過香江潮信，緩緩鋪向故園青岱。 Late at night, I lean on the window to look into the distance, where the myriad lights of the city stretch like a fallen Milky Way. I of life as a grain of millet in the vast sea, but the bright moon at the bottom of the cup and the spring breeze on the seat are both eternal. Is this tonight just a celebration? In fact, it is to take the mellow wine as a boat, to help each other through the journey of life; to take the laughter waves asars, to share the vicissitudes of the years. With drunken eyes, the clear light of thousands of miles is spreading over the tide of the Fragrant River, slowly spreading the green mountains of the hometown.
